RISMEDIA, Dec. 7, 2007-Avalar Real Estate announced that Nam Phan has been appointed as executive vice president of the Western United States. Phan will oversee IT strategies and franchise sales throughout the west coast and oversee Avalar’s technological advances. Additionally, he will build on Avalar’s 68% growth by identifying market leaders and encouraging ongoing expansion throughout the Western United States.
Prior to joining Avalar, Phan served as the managing broker for multiple Prudential Real Estate offices in California. Phan also held various roles with ZipRealty, Inc. over the course of eight years, including director of Operation Standards, director of Training for the company’s 1,800 real estate agents, and as director of Real Estate Services Development.
Phan grew up in Marin County and received a B.S. in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara. He is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese and currently resides in Novato, California.
