Remeta Launches Facebook Fan Page

RISMEDIA, Dec. 12, 2007-The Real Estate Metaverse Association launched a fan page on the popular social networking Web site Facebook. This new page will update its members, non-members, business partners, and other Facebook users regarding association news, press releases, Web site updates along with other relevant association information. In addition to news, the association will post photos, videos, and event information to the Fan page on Facebook.

“Remeta prides itself in new ways to reach out to our membership and business partners,” said Remeta President Corey Leong. “Since Facebook is projected to hit 60 million users by the new year, it was an easy decision to create a fan page to update our Facebook network regarding our day-to-day happenings,” he said. “It’s just another way to connect to our membership at their convenience which is important to building and retaining our association’s membership,” Corey said.

Remeta’s updates will appear in fans’ Facebook inbox under updates.
