Two New Residential Warranty Programs Drive Customer Service Initiatives

RISMEDIA, Dec. 12, 2007-The Warranty Group announced an agreement with ProHome International to offer two new residential warranty programs. The first is a four-year warranty for newly constructed homes and the second is a one-year warranty for existing homes.

According to the company, the ProHome Home Protection Plans will be offered in 28 states through ProHome’s local offices and will be offered to developers, builders and homeowners. The four-year plan becomes effective on the one year anniversary of closing and provides coverage through year five. The one-year plan begins 30 days after the purchase date and covers all existing homes, regardless of age, for a period of one year. The companies say that both plans cover single family and multi-family dwellings and offer comprehensive coverage on appliances, systems and even heating and air conditioning.
