RISMEDIA, Dec. 31, 2007–Information and Real Estate Services, LLC, the MLS for Northern Colorado, became the first MLS in the country to incorporate RapidSketch as a part of its system offerings, the company has announced. RapidSketch, is an advanced sketching solution that allows IRES subscribers to create their own floor plans as JPEGs or PDFs and upload them to the MLS system or email them to clients.
“I discovered RapidSketch at the NAR convention in Las Vegas and was impressed with the advanced capabilities of the software. I knew this would be an exceptionally versatile resource for our subscribers,” said Lauren Emery, CEO of IRES, LLC.
To create a floor plan you can use your mouse or keyboard commands and RapidSketch automatically calculates the square footage as you draw. In addition, the software includes innovative sketching instruments such as an angle snap feature for bay windows and a shape tool for design amenities such as an octagonal deck or a pentagonal sunroom.
“We are very excited that IRES has decided to offer this revolutionary software to their subscribers. RapidSketch was built to be fast, easy and intuitive to use. It is built for mouse, keyboard and tablet drawing,” said Eric Braun, RapidSketch Sales and Training. “With very little training users can create floor plans to enhance their listings directly through the IRES website”.
RapidSketch offers the capability to add details such as inserting a king-size bed, a sofa, or a dresser and, add cars to the garage. Also, the sketching grid easily accommodates multiple levels of the floor plan.
“If I was still a broker, I would create a floor plan for each one of my listings to give to my clients,” said Susie Connett, systems integration specialist at IRES. “This technology is user-friendly and adds another dimension of services to provide to clients.”
