RISMEDIA, July 2, 2007–While agent teams are a growing contingent on the real estate playing field, understanding how successful teams operate is still a mystery to many. RISMedia’s latest survey “Tracking the Challenges and Concerns of Today’s Power Teams” is designed to take the pulse of this important sales force to discover their success strategies and their unique challenges.
“We recognized the rising importance of agent teams in the real estate industry more than a year ago when we launched RISMedia’s Power Team Report,” said RISMedia President & CEO John Featherston. “This survey will go an important step further in seeking to better identify and understand the specific needs of agent teams.”
The easy-to-complete online survey polls agent teams on their business models, their compensation plans, the advantages they receive as a team, their biggest challenges, and more. Results of the survey will appear online at rismedia.com as well as in RISMedia’s Power Team Report and RISMedia’s Real Estate magazine. All agent teams who complete the survey will receive a statistical synopsis of the results and a complimentary year’s subscription to the Power Team Report. All respondents will also be entered into a drawing to win an iPhone, the latest all-in-one tech innovation from Apple.
The top 500 respondents in RISMedia’s 2007 Power Broker Report & Survey, an annual ranking of real estate’s leading brokerage firms collectively reported more than 11,000 agent teams in operation at their firms. As more and more agents seek to maximize sales and profits in an increasingly competitive market, the number of agent teams is expected to grow rapidly.
Hitting the market one year ago this month, RISMedia’s Power Team Report is a monthly newsletter providing targeted business development information expressly for agent teams. Over the past year, the Power Team Report has profiled more than 50 successful agent teams across the country.
In December of this year, RISMedia will also distribute the First Annual Power Team Survey, a financial ranking of the nation’s top agent teams. This survey will be available online beginning in December. To be placed on the e-mail distribution list to receive this survey directly when it becomes available, please e-mail maria@rismedia.com.
