RISMEDIA, July 11, 2007—Intuit Real Estate Solutions (IRES), a division of Intuit Inc. and developer of innovative real estate management software solutions for the global real estate industry, announced the appointment of Chris Schuller to the role of Learning Center Leader.
In his new position Schuller will drive the expansion and improvement of the current training programs, scale the programs to reach the global customer base in a consistent manner, and provide customers, partners, and IRES employees a formal certification program to qualify their learned skills and capabilities. These efforts will allow users and implementation resources to more effectively and efficiently drive value from the IRES solutions in the marketplace.
“Application training and certification is a fundamental element of our customer’s ability to gain and maintain the immense value from their IRES solutions,” said Jeff Thompson, IRES division president. “Naming Chris to this leadership role signifies IRES’ commitment to expanding and refining the curriculum, offerings, delivery mechanisms and reach that our customers, partners and employees desire.”
Schuller brings more than 17 years of enterprise software experience, most recently running his own consulting firm dedicated to innovation in workforce readiness solutions and learning technology. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Microsoft Corporation, where he held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of the Worldwide Learning Center. While at Microsoft Corporation as a Learning and Development executive, Schuller developed a global process around Workforce Readiness, aligning learning and development to the company’s business strategy and organizational goals to establish and grow the Worldwide Learning and Readiness organization. He also innovated and delivered Microsoft’s global learning technology platform and led technical training organizations within product support, global services and enterprise sales.
“We are excited to have Chris as part of our Global Professional Services (GPS) team,” said Patrick Ghilani, IRES GPS Leader. “With his proven ability to build knowledge centers that can meet the dynamic needs of a diverse community, as well as his track record and commitment to providing creative and intuitive educational offerings, we are confident that Chris and his team can take the IRES Learning Center to new heights.”
“I am excited to be a part of this company,” said Schuller. “IRES is a fast growing, innovative business. I look forward to improving and scaling the effectiveness of education and readiness programs for our employees, partners and customers around the world.”
