RISMEDIA, Nov. 12, 2007-Las Vegas area Realtors are the first in the nation to receive Showcase Listing Enhancements on their Realtor.com listings as a free benefit of membership from the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS’ (GLVAR) Multiple Listing Service.
According to the association, as a result, all GLVAR MLS members and their brokerages now receive free branding on the REALTOR.com Search Results Page and Listing Details Page. These new features, including posting up to 25 photos per listing, Neighborhood Information Tabs, home tours via videos, agent and broker contact information, and an “Open House” button leading to open house details, can be accessed on the Detail Listing Pages of Showcase properties at REALTOR.com.
“Enhanced branding on the nation’s largest and most comprehensive real estate site is a tremendous value to our agents and brokers,” said Devin Reiss, GLVAR president. “It’s a way the GLVAR can immediately provide marketing support that can help our member’s business while saying thank you for their tremendous support.”
As one of America’s fastest growing associations, the GLVAR Multiple Listing Service has become the largest single-board MLS in the nation, with about 18,000 members. Inventory in the Las Vegas market has grown in recent months and the REALTOR.com Showcase Listing Enhancement program will help Las Vegas REALTORS better market properties for home sellers, and provide a unique consumer experience when searching for real estate on-line.
“More than eighty percent of today’s home buyers say compelling photos and detailed property descriptions are the most important features to have when searching for a home online,” said REALTOR.com President, Errol Samuelson. “As the industry leader that understands what consumers want, we’re eager to offer REALTORS the tools they need to showcase a listing so it stands out and attracts prospective buyers quickly and efficiently. Showcase Listing Enhancements now provided free by GLVAR for all members is a tremendous validation of the service and their commitment to their membership.”
