RISMEDIA, Jan. 17, 2008-This week, comScore Networks Inc., an independent Internet audience measurement and consulting company, revealed December’s 10 most-visited real estate Web sites in the U.S. Among the industry leaders include Trulia and REALTOR.com.

Realtor.com was revealed as the most visited real estate Web site in December 2007. This news comes on the heels of a recent release of industry-wide rankings from Hitwise reporting that Realtor.com and Move.com were the most visited real estate sites in December 2007.

“Realtor.com remains the leading real estate resource for consumers because we deliver the freshest, largest and most comprehensive online collection of listings,” said Lorna Borenstein, president of Move, Inc. “We’re pleased consumers continue to cast votes of confidence in our content through their traffic counts. As we prepare to launch many new and exciting resources in 2008, we’re confident consumers will continue to choose Realtor.com and Move.com as their most trusted online resources when pursuing the American dream of homeownership.”

According to Trulia, the company has climbed 17 places in comScore’s rankings to become the seventh most-popular real estate brand for the month of December 2007. The total number of unique visitors to Trulia.com has nearly tripled in the past 12 months from 579,000 to more than 1.6 million in December 2007. According to Trulia’s internal traffic monitoring systems, between 3 and 4 million users will visit Trulia.com in January 2008.

“Our rapid growth over the past year underscores that consumers will continue to research their home buying decisions at Trulia-even in a down market-because we provide unique tools and objective insights that people can use to help them make the smartest possible decisions about real estate,” said CEO Pete Flint. “While the overall housing market outlook is uncertain, we’re seeing tremendous growth across all areas of the business as we help millions of consumers, our real estate partners and advertisers when they need us most.”

comScore’s ranking of total unique visitors for December 2007 include:

2 MSN Real Estate
3 Yahoo! Real Estate
4 Rent.com
5 Apartments.com
6 Homegain.com
7 Trulia.com
8 Servicemagic.com
9 HPCInter@active
10 Zillow.com
