Secure Login Token Tips

(MRIS, Feb. 18, 2008)–MRIS has announced the following important information to help members with Secure Login:If you look at the password displayed on your token, and you are unsure whether one character is a letter or a number, keep this in mind: The only letters used by the token are: F, A, C, E, H, and P. So, if it looks like a “B,” it will be an “8,” since there are no letter Bs displayed by the password. And if it looks like the letter “O,” it’s a zero.

If you attempt to login with your token and the password that you enter is rejected, try again. Sometimes the passwords get thrown out of sequence. Twice is the charm.

If you still have not received your token in the mail, call the MRIS helpdesk at 301-838-7200 to verify your street address and have one sent to you. The Helpdesk will also issue you a temporary PIN and password that you can use to access the system until your token arrives.
