First Horizon National Corporation Signs Contract with FIS for Technology Outsourcing Services

RISMEDIA, Feb. 22, 2008-Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS) announced that First Horizon National Corporation (FHNC) signed a multiyear contract under which FIS will provide technology outsourcing services for its open systems, which includes complete data center management.

“We had been managing our technology support in house and saw an opportunity to cut costs and guarantee service levels by expanding our partnership with FIS through this agreement,” said Patrick Ruckh, chief technology officer of FHNC. “We expect to see immediate costs savings as well as opportunities for long-term savings.”

FIS offers a full range of IT infrastructure and managed operations services that enable clients to improve service levels and effectively manage IT costs. FHNC has a long-standing relationship with FIS in which FIS has provided technology support for its mainframe platform as well as enterprise banking and mortgage solutions.
