RISMEDIA, March 5, 2008-Advance Realty will be joining the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for “Project Clean Stream” this spring.
On April 5, various agents and corporate members of Advance Realty will be volunteering to help the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay remove trash from the Bay waters. “Project Clean Stream” is an annual environmental event which collects volunteers to remove discarded items, tires and other garbage from streams and roadsides in Central Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
In 2007, 90,000 pounds of trash was removed from area streams with over 2,500 volunteers attending. Project Clean Stream is managed by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and funded by a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
