RISMEDIA, March 5, 2008-Trulia, Inc., one of the fastest-growing U.S. real estate websites, announced an advertising partnership with Windermere Real Estate. Along with the partnership, Trulia is now the first online real estate site to offer listings directly from the Seattle-based company. Approximately 30,000 Windermere listings from the company’s network of 290 U.S. offices will be featured on Trulia, giving Windermere a dominant presence in their markets.
As part of the advertising agreement, Windermere says that their listings will appear as “Featured Listings,” in the top three search results when consumers search for homes with matching criteria. Windermere agents will be able to attach custom contact information to their listings, giving Trulia users one-click access to agents who represent the properties that interest them most. Windermere has also purchased the entire inventory for two banner advertising units that appear next to listings information on Trulia for the states of Washington and Oregon, and highly trafficked cities, such as Salt Lake City, Sun Valley and Palm Springs.
“Our mission is to give Windermere agents the ability to cast the widest net possible when it comes to exposing their clients’ listings to a national audience of serious home buyers. We chose Trulia as our first real estate online partner because it is the fastest-growing real estate Website who puts our agents at the forefront of the sales cycle,” said Mike Fanning, EVP, Windermere Services.
“Using our highly targeted advertising capabilities, the Windermere family of agents and brokers will connect directly with the growing legions of home buyers who begin their real estate search online,” said Sami Inkinen, Trulia co-founder and COO. “In addition, we’re thrilled that home buyers on Trulia will now have direct access to Windermere listings, brokers and agents across the Web.”
