RISMEDIA, March 11, 2008-Clareity Security and InternetCrusade recently joined forces to co-develop a secure online voting tool that uses Clareity Security’s award winning SAFEMLS® and Text-passTM authentication tools along with Internet Crusade’s stable and proven online voting software. VOTESAFETM is an online voting and survey tool that allows real estate associations and MLS’s to easily administer online membership voting and surveys that are secured using two factor authentication which requires the user to present “something they have” along with “something they know” significantly reducing unauthorized participation and ensuring the voter is “who they say they are”.
According to the two companies, VOTESAFE is available whether or not the organization has the SAFEMLS product. Continuing Clareity Security’s quest to bring customers the most comprehensive choices in authentication – with VOTESAFE each registered user can receive a secure, unique, one-time-use password via their cell phone – using Clareity Security’s TEXT-pass technology. E-mail addresses can be used when there is no registered cellular number.
“We are excited about the partnership with Internet Crusade and look forward to offering VOTESAFE as part of Clareity Security’s growing suite of products aimed and securing access to internet based applications” said Gregg Larson, CEO of Clareity Security.
Saul Klein, CEO of Internet Crusade stated “Online voting offers a higher level of convenience to organizations and their members and is also shown to increase membership participation. The integration of Clareity Security’s SAFEMLS and Text-pass products make the VOTESAFE product a valuable service for any MLS or real estate association.”
