Print Article Print Article

RISMEDIA, April 3, 2008-When Old Republic Home Protection, a provider in the home warranty industry, heard that U.A. Durr Home Warranty of Metairie, LA, had suspended operations, and that their plan holders might lose their valuable protection, ORHP donned its “Superhero” suit and came to the rescue. ORHP developed the following creative solutions that allow U.A. Durr Plan Holders and/or real estate agents and their clients to maintain the valuable benefits that home warranty protection provides.

According to the company, any open listings and homes in contract to U.A. Durr can easily be updated to Old Republic Home Protection, with comprehensive coverage for both the Home Seller and Buyer

The following limited-time options are also available to U.A. Durr Plan Holders through April 30, 2008.

Any paid plans currently in force with U.A. Durr will be offered the opportunity to obtain coverage from Old Republic Home Protection on a special pro-rated basis.

The company says that plan holders may also obtain one full year of coverage (or renew their current Plan) with Old Republic Home Protection, if desired. Plan payment options will be made available for these plan holders.
