Obeo Announces Andy Evans as Director of Product Strategy

RISMEDIA, April 17, 2008-Obeo, a provider of full-service residential real estate online marketing products in North America, announced Andy Evans as its director of product strategy.

In this new role managing Obeo’s products and strategy, Evans will oversee all product development from idea to implementation. He will work with all company leadership positions during the product development process and research new technologies to determine if they can be used by Obeo. Additionally, he will oversee all marketing efforts of the company, including Web, print advertising and trade shows.

As founder of Obeo in 1999, Evans’ previous position as company CTO put him in charge of the entire IT department and all technology-related duties. With Obeo’s rapid growth in the past few years, Evans’ new position will allow him to focus on the future vision of the company and other critical needs areas.

Prior to founding Obeo, Evans ran his own graphic design and Web development company. His vast knowledge of Obeo’s business history, internal processes, database and information structure along with his graphic design training help prepare him for his new position with Obeo.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Evans, 34, now lives in Farmington, Utah, with his wife, Amy, and four children, Annakeya, Arianna, Alexis and Alek. He is a member of the Utah Technology Council (UTC) and also volunteers at his church. He enjoys skiing,
