MLS Data Exchange Moves Forward

RISMEDIA, May 13, 2008-The move towards “MLS of Choice” for brokers in Colorado has taken an important step forward with comprehensive report formats released earlier this week by IRES, the regional Multiple Listing Service serving the Front Range of Colorado. IRES, Information and Real Estate Services, LLC, is moving toward complete data integration with information from the MLS serving the Denver metropolitan area. Recent system updates enabled more detailed listing information to be displayed to the 6000 real estate professionals served by IRES.

“Broader access to listing inventory greatly benefits sellers, buyers, brokers and appraisers ,” said Lauren Emery, CEO of IRES, LLC. “More data means greater exposure for sellers, and additional options for buyers,” she went on to say.

Recent enhancements to the MLS system allow brokers to search for listings within each region, or the entire Front Range at once, by MLS number or address, or other property features. IRES subscribers are to view more listing detail than ever before in a two page report format or Showing Guide, designed for touring homes.

“The IRES MLS system will continue to evolve as total integration moves forward, to the benefit of brokers and their clients,” said Niki Moran, Projects Manager at IRES, LLC.

Data integration efforts will continue in coming months to provide even more information and functionality to area brokers, ultimately benefiting their clients and customers.
