Seminar offers solutions to negative effects of company politics
RISMEDIA, May 22, 2008-Prudential California Realty President and CEO Steve Rodgers will participate as a key panelist on a webcast sponsored by The Conference Board, a renowned business membership and research organization. On the webcast, titled “Transforming Corporate Politics into Successful Opportunities,” Rodgers will lend his expertise on creating a positive corporate environment, drawing from his experience as President and CEO of Prudential California Realty.

The webcast, which will take place on June 16th from 2 to 3:30 pm Eastern Standard Time, will focus on several objectives: creating a culture of positive influence and politics within an organization; managing the problems created by negative political activity; maintaining corporate integrity in tough, competitive environments; and learning what can be achieved with enhanced influencing skills. Dr. Gary Ranker of New York, NY, will act as panelist and moderator along with co-moderator Denise Sinuk of The Conference Board. Colin Gautrey, Managing Director of Politics at Work will also be a panelist.
The webcast can be accessed worldwide through a PC with a standard Internet connection, and a telephone. Encouraged to attend are vice presidents and managers interested in turning damaging political activity into successful opportunities, and human resources executives/leadership development managers responsible for talent development. The fee for the webcast is $350 for Conference Board members and $450 for non-members. Non-profit groups pay only $265 and The Conference Board working group members qualify for a special rate of $300.
