HMS National Expands Customer Service Capacity

RISMEDIA, June 6, 2008-HMS National, Inc. (HMS), a provider of home warranties for home sellers and buyers, announced that it plans to expand its customer service capacity with a new customer care facility in Anderson, South Carolina. Scheduled to be operational in summer 2008, the new facility will provide additional capacity for the company’s expanding home warranty business. According to the company, HMS National will remain headquartered in Florida, where it will retain its existing positions.

“Despite the slow growth of the real estate market in some areas, we are pleased that HMS’ business remains strong,” said Joseph J. Incandela, president, HMS National. “To maintain our leadership position and ensure that our home warranty programs provide the highest level of service, it is important to continue increasing our customer service capacity.”

The South Carolina location was selected as the result of an extensive, 14-month site search. Key factors in the decision-making process were the quality of the available labor force, appropriate fit of an existing facility, and presence of strong community support for training and employment services.
