First American Title Promotes Maryann List to Oversee California’s West Bay Counties

RISMEDIA, June 13, 2008-First American Title Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of First American Title Insurance Company, announced that MaryAnn List has taken on added responsibility as part of a comprehensive management strategy to unite First American’s operations in Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. List will now oversee all title and escrow operations for the three West Bay counties.

List, who brings more than 20 years of title industry experience to her new position, has spent most of her career in the Bay Area. After joining First American’s Redwood City office in 1990, she went on to serve as assistant vice president and sales manager in San Mateo and San Francisco counties. For the past nine years, she has served as vice president and manager of the company’s San Mateo County division, which has enjoyed consistent profitability and market share growth under her leadership.

List currently serves on the board of directors for HIP Housing and is an affiliate member of the San Mateo County Association of Realtors. A California native, she currently lives in Redwood Shores.
