RISMEDIA, June 17, 2008-Terabitz, a technology company that helps real estate brokerages engage online home buyers and sellers, announced the release of an updated Web platform that the company says sets a new standard for real estate search. The platform-which can be licensed by companies as a full enterprise website solution or in components-is being implemented by Terabitz customers nationwide.
Highlights of the release include:
- “Rolodex” listings display. Consumers viewing property on a Terabitz customer site can now browse search results visually in a display rooted in a familiar metaphor: The Rolodex. Property details are accessed by clicking on the image of a selected property. Users will also be able to view results in map and list formats.
- Integration of market and financing data. Local real estate market and finance data is tightly integrated with both the Rolodex and traditional views, putting critical decision support data a click away from the listing photo.
- One-click data overlays. User are now able to add the unmatched quantity of community, point of interest and housing data Terabitz offer to their search results with one click, allowing them to answer the all-important question, “can I live here?”
“Our goal is to deliver the sort of innovation and user experience consumers find on national sites such as Trulia and Zillow to the people who actually own the property listings: real estate brokers.” said Ashfaq Munshi, CEO of Terabitz. “With this latest release, we’ve surpassed that goal with features that fundamentally improve the home search experience.”
“The Terabitz website platform is key to our market leadership,” said Gino Blefari, Founder, President and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services. “By combining powerful technology and rich data in an innovative, consumer friendly interface, Terabitz has enabled us to engage customers better and faster than ever before.”
The Terabitz platform has been adopted by leading real estate brokerages around the country, including Intero Real Estate Services (www.interorealestate.com), Metro Brokers (www.coloradohomestop.com), Century 21 Abrams, Hutchinson and Associates (www.century21ah.com), Jonathan Bowen Real Estate (www.jonathanbowenrealestate.com), Lang McLaughry ((www.LMSRE.com) and ACB Real Estate (www.acbre.com).
According to the company, the Terabitz platform is both scalable and flexible, allowing customer to license exactly what they need. Components include an IDX search solution, local data feeds, lead management tools, and the first iPhone home search application. All components may be licensed as a complete enterprise website solution with an option for agent website creation, says the company.
“We have the capital, experience and technology to push innovation in this space to the benefit of brokers, and we intend to make that happen,” Said Munshi “We are here to help the real estate community, not leverage it.”
