Best tip for getting the right listing price: Do your research before you meet with a client and make sure the statistics you are using are current. Sometimes being blunt with your clients is the best thing to do. Show them graphs and information on the current market that will allow them to see that if they overprice their home, it will stay on the market longer. Eventually, they will take in less money than if the home had been priced correctly to begin with.
How do you motivate agents?
By example as well as by showing them that getting educated will make a difference in their commission/salary. I am constantly on blogs and bulletin boards to learn what other brokers and agents are doing and to see what works for them. I like to ask my agents if they have something that is working for them that they would like to share with everyone, so that we are all helping one another.
How do you communicate with customers?
The easiest and most efficient way for me to communicate with my customers is through e-mail. It is a quick and easy way to communicate and you always have a record of the dialogue, which is beneficial.
Key to working together as a team?
I try to bring the team together as much as possible to share ideas and for team building. When all of us work together, we all benefit. I am working toward building a team of agents that can share ideas so that everyone in the company can do well.
What are two fundamentals that you feel are essential to your company’s continued success?

It is important for real estate agents to go through training and get designations so that they can be equipped to provide the best service possible to their client.
