RISMEDIA, July 15, 2008-HUNT Real Estate Corporation announced Monday the debut of its brand new website, www.r-house.com. Featuring a new, client-friendly layout, the company says that the website allows for a wide array of personal customer interaction including: customized search and saved listings options, price and availability change notifications, as well as an interactive map-all are technological advances built on the new Web 2.0 platform. Web 2.0 will give visitors and users of HUNT website a face and a voice on the Internet, creating an environment of social empowerment where the content they see is catered to them, and they have a say in what and how they receive it.
The new r-house.com is leveraging the power of Web 2.0 to benefit both HUNT customers and agents. A new search feature, “House HUNT”, is introduced-allowing users to draw a “fence” on a map around the area that they are interested in and view details of matching properties in the “fenced” area. According to the company, customers also have the ability to create an identity on the website by using “my HUNT” and provide their personalized criteria for finding a home and/or agent, as well as for selection of a variety of notification methods. “my HUNT” will let customers track homes they have an interest in, alert them of changes in the status or price, set up search criteria that will allow the website to notify them when new properties that match their criteria become available, and save search parameters to easily run their common searches at a later time. Additionally, when logged into the r-house.com website, customers will see their own version of the home page containing dashboard information on the features listed above – tracked properties, new properties that match their interest and links to their saved searches.
The new website will also allow HUNT agents to target their personal advertising to customers searching for homes in a particular region or town. Advertising will be non-interruptive to the content viewing experience, hyper contextual, and allow the customer to easily engage the agent through the Web. HUNT agents will be able to track and quantify the success of their advertising on the Web through use of real time Web traffic reporting.
Expanded corporate information also allows for customers and prospective agents to get to know the HUNT culture: all of HUNT’s corporate officers introduce themselves through personal bio pages; the HUNT corporate newsletter is made available online along with press releases and a streaming feed of Peter Hunt’s weekly radio show on WBEN. Additionally, fresh graphics and updated corporate information reflect the wide variety of changes and expansions that HUNT has undergone as of late.
“With more and more of our customers turning to Internet for real estate research and property searches, we have taken steps to completely re-develop www.r-house.com to reflect the latest advances in technology and accommodate the growing demands of our agents and customers,” remarks Nikki E. Alieva, Marketing Operations Manager at HUNT Real Estate Corp. “The upgrades will ultimately convert our website into an interactive, dynamic dialogue between customer and agent, utilizing the r-house.com site as the communication vehicle.”
