Coming to the U.S.: Born and raised in Mexico City, Autry first moved to the U.S. in 1990.

Unique perspective: “Although moving to the U.S., and later North Carolina, was a big adjustment, it has proved invaluable to understanding clients’ perspectives and needs,” says Autry.

Autry focuses on making sure that before any work began that the client’s dream of homeownership could in fact come to fruition. For this reason, in the interim, she goes through a thorough process with clients to make sure she understands their needs and makes sure they qualify-and are matched with-the right lender. “And I’m proud to say to this day-five years into it-that not one contract has fallen through,” she says.
