All Eyes on Your Site – How One Company Attracts Viewers

The first is to judge the competition of the market and the second is to see how a company markets its listings.”

With the Internet increasingly becoming the prominent source for real estate information, Bray recognizes the need for his company to have a solid Web presence, and Delta Media Group equipped him with a solid foundation.

The website that Delta Media Group has provided Cutler Real Estate with has given it an advantage within the real estate industry. Being one of the first companies to partner with Delta Media Group, Cutler’s website has seen tremendous growth and increased traffic over the years.

“Our website has been the go-to site in Northeast Ohio for some time now,” says Bray. The site has also become the main focus of Cutler’s print ads. “Every ad that we produce is used to drive traffic to our website.”

Bray has been involved with Delta Media Group since 1997 and continues to play a role in the development end of the company.

“The whole system was built by brokers-for brokers-and every aspect was developed on a need basis,” says Bray. “There are too many software companies developing products from the theoretical side, and when they are introduced into the industry, they don’t work.” Delta Media Group, however, was built from the inside out, by people who are familiar with the demands of the business.

“This is a company that listens,” says Bray. “We spend a lot of time figuring out how they can make the system better, and Delta is quick to get our ideas in motion.”

One of the features that has been most beneficial to Bray is the lead generator. Having been in the real estate industry for 42 years, Bray has watched a lot of companies grow and has seen the skepticism in which real estate agents have regarded leads generated through the call center. The lead generator that Delta offers takes away this skepticism as all leads are dealt with electronically.

“The lead generator allows us to set up our own rule that indicates how leads should be dealt with, and in what way they should be distributed among agents” says Bray. “The system puts an aspect of competition into handling leads and reiterates the point that the most important thing is how quickly you get back to the customer.”

Once the leads are distributed through the lead management system, they can then be monitored. With the system in place, managers can see who is getting the leads, and how they are responding to them.

“Delta has given us management tools that we have never had before,” says Bray. “The system allows us to see everything that is happening within the company and gives us the opportunity to coach our agents about what is happening on their individual sites.”

Having a good website and system in place is just the beginning to gaining a competitive advantage within the marketplace.

“The key to making any program work for you depends on how you implement it,” says Bray. “The reason we have been successful is because we know how to implement, partly because of our being involved on the development side. The key to success is to make the technology work. You have to use it, build systems around it and monitor it,” says Bray. “The system is only as good as the Realtors that use it.”
