RISMEDIA, Sept. 26, 2008-PropertyPreviews.com, a free video creation and distribution service for real estate professionals, announced the addition of new media partners and distribution options to its suite of services. Users are now able to easily distribute video and property information to Comcast’s Video-On-Demand channels as well as to RR Donnelley, giving real estate professionals the ability to effortlessly print postcards and flyers. New destinations have also been added for online distribution of property information, including HotPads.com, ChicagoTribune.com and Condo.com.

According to the company, in the first few weeks more than 1,200 users started using PropertyPreviews.com to create free videos and, with one click, distribute them to such free sites as YouTube, Google, Oodle, Trulia and Zillow. PropertyPreviews.com now also offers enhanced listing options with Oodle Featured Listings.

“PropertyPreviews.com makes it simple to create compelling, interactive property tours so real estate professionals and home sellers can effectively market their listing,” said Jeff Harris, general manager for PropertyPreviews.com. “Adding media and distribution options, and new video creation features, strengthens our ability to deliver online and offline results for our clients.”

In addition to including more media and distribution options, PropertyPreviews.com says that it makes it easier for users to upload images, manage their property information and edit their video with more music options. Based on user feedback, the site can now accommodate marketing monthly rental properties and support for international listings.

“I send interactive flyers with the PropertyPreviews.com link embedded to other realtors in my network,” said Peter Leon, ASP, TRC, e-PRO Broker of Prime Realty Services. “Not only are the videos effective on behalf of my clients, but I have seen many other brokers and agents sign up for the free service as well.”

A recent survey conducted jointly by VHT, Inc., and PropertyPreviews.com highlights the impact that videos and professional photography have on the perceived value of a property. According to the survey results, the use of a video in marketing a property increases the perceived value of a home by nearly six percent while professional photography increases the perceived value by nearly 12 percent. On a $500,000 home, this equates to an increase in perceived value of $30,000 and $60,000 respectively.

Photos uploaded to PropertyPreviews.com are automatically converted into a Controlled Motion Video (CMV). CMV gives visual movement to static property images to create videos without the typical pixelization and loss of quality of videotaped tours. While the video creation is automated, users can personalize tours with editing tools and a variety of background music selections.

On PropertyPreviews.com, the company says that the actual process of creating a video tour takes about five minutes and consists of uploading images, entering relevant property and profile information details and selecting websites for distribution.

PropertyPreviews.com creates the tour and displays the property details, tour and photos in an ePostcard that can be distributed to an agent’s website or other real estate listing services.

Reporting statistics that display video views and track referrals are also available via the PropertyPreviews.com reporting tool.
