RISMEDIA, Sept. 26, 2008-The Women’s Council of Realtors® (WCR) will hold the 2009 Marketing to Women Summit March 20-22, 2009, on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
The summit will show real estate professionals how to win the hearts, minds and business of the female buyer, who make 80% of all consumer buying decisions including housing. Those attending will learn about the latest gender trends, how women make “power of the purse” spending decisions and how to tailor their marketing in ways that connect with women. They will take home a mountain of relevant and actionable insights that will translate immediately to their business.
The keynote speaker is Marti Barletta, founder and president of The TrendSight Group (www.trendsight.com) a Winnetka-based consulting group that helps companies think wisely about marketing to women. Her latest book, Prime Time Women: How to Win the Hearts, Minds and Business of Boomer Big Spenders, is getting rave reviews and follows on the success of her earlier book, the best-selling Marketing to Women: How to Increase Your Share of the World’s Largest Market, now in its second edition. Attendees will hear Marti explain how marketing to women is a radical opportunity, and how to take action on it.
WCR will hold two thought leader sessions – Vickie Austin, business and career coach, will lead “Women Who Mean Business”, and Marilyn Moats Kennedy, founder and managing partner of Career Strategies will lead “Cross Generational Marketing to Women.”
WCR is also offering a Leadership Skills Training Workshop, where attendees will have access to training, practice and take-away tools in several important leadership areas, including leadership essentials, public speaking skills and conflict management strategies. This workshop is available at the discounted price of $99 if attendees register for both events, and the workshop counts for full credit in WCR’s Performance Management Network Designation program.
