RISMEDIA, Oct. 14, 2008-For some, entering a new career is enough motivation to take charge and get started on the right foot. For others, like Boker (Bob) Yaruss, today’s featured Realtor on the Rise, it was necessary to leave his old baggage at the door before embarking on his voyage through real estate.

Staying safe: Yaruss is a retired reserve police sergeant.

Music to your ears: He is also an accomplished classical guitarist and brass instrumentalist.

His license names him Robert, but his clients call him Boker. It literally means “daybreak.” “Robert” was the computer salesman in the dotcom of the 1990s, “Bob” was the marketing guy; “Bobby” was his parent’s youngest son. Boker Yaruss decided that old baggage wasn’t coming into his new career, so he is Boker the Agent.

Each day RISMedia is proud to introduce you to one of our 50 Realtors on the Rise for 2008, chosen by the editors of Real Estate magazine and selected from hundreds of entries.
