RISMEDIA, Oct. 24, 2008-eNeighborhoods, a leading compiler of neighborhood information and marketing systems for real estate professionals, and a division of Dominion Enterprises, announces the addition of two executives to its management team.
Mark Mathis, an eight-year industry veteran has joined eNeighborhoods as vice president of sales and operations. He is responsible for the company’s Agent and Broker Services and Operations divisions, and is focused on developing products utilizing neighborhood knowledge. Mathis comes to eNeighborhoods from REALTOR.com® where he served as senior vice president of sales.
“The real estate business is more challenging than ever for agents and brokers,” said Mathis. “I’m excited to be joining an organization that truly makes a difference in helping real estate professionals forge relationships that build their brands and turn their customers into clients. Our goal is to continuously improve eNeighborhoods’ marketing systems to help agents and brokers who want to take the step beyond salesperson to neighborhood expert – a trusted guide for their clients.”
David Harris, an expert on real estate data and MLSs, has been named director of data management for eNeighborhoods. Harris serves on the Board of Directors of RESO (real estate standards organization), the group that’s responsible for the development and direction of industry data standards. He was formerly director of information technology at First Multiple Listing Service in Atlanta.
“From the beginning, eNeighborhoods has been a leader in applying technology to improve the real estate business for agents, brokers and MLS organizations,” Harris said. “I have been focused on technological innovation my whole career, so this is a great opportunity to be involved with an organization that’s driving real progress in the real estate industry.”
“Technology is changing the way people buy and sell homes and the way real estate professionals work. Mark Mathis and David Harris understand the challenges and opportunities in working with agents, brokers, associations and MLS organizations,” said Peter Ill, president of Dominion Enterprises’ real estate businesses. “Bringing Mark and David on board further strengthens our eNeighborhoods management team and our commitment to better data and marketing tools for real estate.”
