Keystone Photo Upload: Thirty Photos for No Charge – Now What Do I Do?

Print Article Print Article

MRIS, Nov. 10, 2008-According the NAR 2007 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, nearly one-third of recent buyers reported that their “first step” in the home-buying process was looking online for properties for sale.Consumers are demanding listings with photos. Internet listings with photos attract buyers. Listings with multiple photos are viewed more often.

Were you aware that you can upload photos immediately once you have submitted the listing and obtained an MLS Number?

Keystone Photo Upload (KPU) allows the listing agent to enter up to 30 photos per listing at no additional charge. Keystone Photo Upload requires two programs to be downloaded on the computer that you are using to upload photos:

1. Sun Java Runtime Engine (JRE) version 6, build 3
2. Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.47 or later

The listing agent is now able to display a custom sort order, custom caption and description. The photos will display in Matrix, Active Agent®, Lingo, and Bridge.

File formats accepted are .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .png, .tif and .tiff.

Note: the larger the file size, the more time will be spent waiting for the file to upload and waiting for Keystone to process the image. Check the setting on your digital camera, it may have a menu where you can select PC quality photos. This will allow for a faster upload and won’t have any effect on how the photos are viewed on the Internet.
