RISMEDIA, Nov. 3, 2008-Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) announced that Jeff Barnett, vice president & regional manager of Alain Pinel Realtors, has been named to four important Realtor committees. The National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Nation’s largest trade organization, named Barnett to the Strategic Planning Committee, Reserves Investment Subcommittee and Realtors Property Resource Task Force for 2009. The California Association of Realtors (CAR) named Barnett to its Strategic Planning and Finance Committee for 2009.
As a member of the NAR Committees, Barnett will help establish the future strategic direction of NAR, be an investment steward for $30 million of NAR reserve funds, and provide advice and guidance for the establishment of an in-depth nationwide real property information databank. The CAR Strategic Planning and Finance Committee will also be tapping Barnett for his strategic thinking and financial management capabilities. These appointments are in addition to a long list of national, state, regional and local Realtor trade groups Barnett has served on during his real estate career.
Barnett joined Alain Pinel Realtors in 1991 as one of its original sales agents and has 19 years of experience in the real estate industry. As Vice President & Regional Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the Los Gatos and Almaden offices, which cover the southern region of Silicon Valley, and over 200 sales professionals.
