Virtual Class– What is it? How can I Participate?

MRIS, Jan. 5, 2008-MRIS has a learning solution that capitalizes on the power of the web and allows us to offer convenient classes aimed at making you more productive. A virtual class is really just another name for distance learning. Our classes have been developed for you using tried and proven instructional design techniques. The class will be delivered over the Internet by one of the MRIS Instructors.

What you will need: The email confirmation of registration for your class, cookies enabled on your computer, JavaScript (Sun Microsystems 1.6.0_10), Flash, an Internet connection and a phone. There will be a system test to run well ahead of time to make sure your computer is ready for class. The vendor of the online classroom space has a toll free help line should difficulties arise.

Enroll in a class today. Log into www.mris.com. Hover over Training, click on Virtual Class, and click Virtual Class List. The upcoming classes will be displayed. Choose the class you wish to enroll in and complete the process. A confirmation email will be sent to your email. Save this email, this confirmation will contain a link to enter class, the instructions for dialing into the audio portion of the class and a link to test your computer. Test your computer right away, and use the confirmation email on the day of class to enter the virtual classroom.
