Minority Real Estate Groups to Hold Joint Legislative Event
RISMEDIA, February 22, 2010—The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) will hold a joint real estate and policy conference on March 4-5, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton in Washington D.C.
The multicultural trade associations will discuss the impact of the housing crisis on minority homeowners, industry reforms and proposed policy changes at the forum entitled: The Color of the Housing Recovery: Creating a Sustainable Path to Minority Homeownership.”
Special guest speakers include FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair, David Stevens, Assistant Secretary of Housing & FHA Commissioner and Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. Business leaders, government officials and about 500 multicultural real estate practitioners from around the nation are expected to attend.
