RISMEDIA, February 10, 2011—Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC announced that Wendy Forsythe has been promoted to senior vice president of network services. Forsythe will continue to lead the teams responsible for providing products, tools and services to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network of more than 7,000 sales associates and 196 offices serving home buyers and sellers in 21 states, the company stated.
Most recently, Forsythe served as vice president of network services, where she helped to build the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand and assisted in launching the company as a Realogy franchise in July of 2008. Before joining Realogy, Forsythe was vice president of sales services for Canadian-based Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd., where she developed and managed an extensive suite of productivity tools for real estate professionals.
“Wendy was the first person I hired to join me on the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate team, and I hand-selected her because I knew her vision and dedication would result in the industry’s most unique network services platform, which has formed the foundation of our brand,” said Sherry Chris, president and CEO for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. “She has been a tireless team member and leader, overseeing each and every brand services innovation and company transition to-date. Wendy’s many contributions to the company have been instrumental in making us one of the fastest-growing real estate franchises in the country.”
Forsythe began her real estate career as a salesperson in the early 1990s. She achieved numerous listing and production awards before progressing into office management. In 1994, she purchased a brokerage franchise in Nova Scotia and was the youngest licensed real estate broker in the province’s history. Her office was honored by Realty World Canada with the National Rookie Office of the Year Award.
