RISMEDIA, March 15, 2011—So many would-be investors are intimidated by being a landlord. Buying an investment in your neighborhood is one, great way to mitigate the intimidation factor. Managing two properties right near each other (the one you live in and the one you invest in) is like not being a landlord at all. Instead of having a 4-bedroom, 2-bath to keep tabs on, now you have 8 bedroom and 4 baths. No big deal.
