RISMEDIA, April 5, 2011—Kodak’s new PlayTouch camcorder makes an ideal pocket-size companion for today’s real estate professional. Whether you’re recording a home video tour, a client testimonial or a quick look around the neighborhood, the PlayTouch offers a host of features to make the job quick and convenient.

For starters, there’s a built-in microphone jack and headphone jack just right for plugging in a lapel mic so your narration or comments from a satisfied client come through loud and clear. It also features a variety of recoding resolutions, all the way up to 1080p high definition. Video can be stored on plug-in SD cards with up to 32 gigabites of capacity. There’s even a macro-focus for getting up close and personal.

Aside from a power button and record button, virtually all controls are accessed through the camera’s smooth touch screen. It allows for fingertip selection of a wide variety of options and settings ranging from video resolution and microphone gain to special affects like sepia and black and white recording. The PlayTouch also offers an onboard editing program that allows you to trim and fine tune your photos and videos so you can keep what you like and edit out the rest.

You can download your videos to your computer’s Windows or Mac operating system through a USB port, and then piece together your clips on the simple editing program that’s included. When you’re done, uploading to YouTube, Facebook or other sites is push button easy.

The PlayTouch comes complete with an HDMI cable to connect directly to your high def flat screen. It weighs in at a little over four ounces, with rechargeable batteries and it’s thinner than most of its competitors, making it ideal for pocket or purse.

If palm-size camcorders are on your radar, Kodak’s PlayTouch is worth a careful look. We think you’ll like what you see.
