Have you ever wondered what benefits you receive from enlisting in RISMedia’s RREIN program? Below, Patty Bender, vice president of operations with Century 21 Scheetz, let’s us in on how being a RREIN member has helped her business.
How are you and your company using components of the RREIN program?
We have a fully automated customer database that goes out, as well as newsletters that go out to a large number of our current and past clients. We are sending the newsletter out Monday through Friday, and we actually put some of our own info in it as well. Another thing we add is contests; the agents never know when they will be included in the newsletter, so it provides us a lot of information about who is reading. We write in our newsletter that the first person to respond is the winner of whatever the current contest is; we recently gave away a $50 gas card. It was interesting to see who was actually reading our content. After the contest, we highlighted the person who won, as well as how and why. This increased our readership.
What RREIN material have you been integrating on your site?
We import content on our main website and all of our different pages: mortgage, buying, selling, etc. All of the articles that come through RISMedia are on our website, and clients can click on the different pages and get the content directly on our site so they don’t leave our page. Also, we import and utilize the videos RISMedia gives us on our home page, continuously switching out the videos provided.
What part of the program has been most beneficial to you?
Probably the tools and resources that we have implemented right onto the website, like the Q&A and the tips on buying, selling and mortgage, etc. Also, it makes us look really professional by allowing us to embed videos right into our own site.
Do you think the material has extended the length of time that visitors spend on your site?
Yes, I know it has. It provides us an avenue for giving the client valuable information that we know they are looking for. It enables us to not have to write additional material but utilize what we already have and, therefore, our clients think we’re brilliant because they assume we wrote it.
Have you gotten feedback regarding the information you are putting out?
We have gotten great feedback from our agents, and we see them taking info from the newsletters and providing it to their clients. However, we have not yet rolled out our agent version, which we hope to do very soon.
Does being a RREIN member have any affect on your client relationships?
It provides us a consistent avenue for staying in touch with the client. Often times, companies can be somewhat like agents, meaning, we get busy and don’t have a consistent avenue to stay in touch. RREIN provides us with that ability. It keeps our name in front of the client; it provides them with added value; and it sure makes us look good.
