One of the most knowledgeable industry professionals that RISMedia and Top 5 have brought on board is real estate coach and well-known speaker Gee Dunsten, aka “the Real Estate Educator,” who is now able to bring a wealth of experience to Top 5 members, adding further value to the program.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Dunsten entered the real estate business in 1972. Starting in residential sales, he progressed to general sales manager, then owner/broker in 10 years. In 1986 Dunsten sold his business and returned to his first love…selling real estate and his selling career has crossed the $200 million mark.
Dunsten has been a senior instructor with the Council of Residential Specialists for over 20 years, having served as their 2001 president. In addition to teaching CRS classes, Dunsten is president of Gee Dunsten Seminars, Inc. His hands-on approach to real estate training, with leading-edge ideas and systems, has made him a popular speaker at the NAR Convention and many state and company franchise conventions.
Dunsten has taught in all 50 states as far away as Australia, Chile and New Zealand. With more than 30 years in resort destination sales, Dunsten has co-written and developed the Recreation and Resort Specialist Training Courses and is recognized as a Recreation and Resort Specialist.
Also known as the Real Estate Educator, Dunsten currently writes a monthly featured article for RISMedia’s Real Estate magazine and has been featured on Michael Krisa’s Real Estate Unplugged.
