Pillar To Post, one of North America’s largest home inspection franchises, added five new franchisees in April, the company has announced. Growth has been strong, with 10 new territories added in the first quarter of the year and another 10 anticipated in the coming weeks. The company is on track to meet its goal of 75 new locations by the end of 2013, as expansion continues to gain momentum.
“We are excited to welcome these five promising franchisees to our company,” says Dan Steward, president and CEO of Pillar To Post. “These graduates have demonstrated tremendous potential, and we are confident that they will help us further develop our brand in their markets.”
The new Pillar To Post owners are John Hayes of northeast Mississippi, Brian Bentley of Orlando, Fla., Paul Fry of Oklahoma City, Vincent and Thaija Stoakley of Houston and Walt Magno who will service Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson Counties in Pennsylvania.
With the strong growth that has already occurred in 2013, Pillar To Post is continuing last year’s record success. In 2012, the company posted new franchise recruiting numbers 250 percent higher than 2011. The company also saw 20 percent sales growth last year through a combination of more inspections, a broader service offer, and new franchisees.
Growth has been boosted by the steady improvement of the real estate industry. According to a report from the National Association of Realtors, as of February 2013, existing-home sales remained above year-ago levels for 20 consecutive months, while prices demonstrated 12 consecutive months of year-over-year price increases. This data shows that the housing market is experiencing a healthy recovery, signaling strong potential for the growth of the home inspection industry in 2013 and beyond.
