To address this we created a more measured approach. We ask a few questions and then work with an agent to get one thing fully set up. It does not all have to be done in a day. In fact we have a progression of items that we can implement over time. What is unique about this is we take careful note of what the agent actually put in use, made sure it was all working, and only then took them to another solution.
Speaking with brokers, they want a say in how this is prioritized. There are things we offer that the broker would frankly rather provide themselves, and we respect that. What we resolved to do is give brokers a choice as to what they would like their agents to utilize, and in what order, so that if we are focusing on mobile tools it ties into the broker’s timing on getting their agents trained on mobile technology. The same applies with social, lead generation tools, follow-up communications systems, (like our free e-newsletter Housing Trends) etc.
