Their agent was not in my area which also led to me assisting the purchaser with his inspections. I had spent so many hours on this transaction that the money wasn’t even an issue for me any longer. I just wanted it closed for my young Coast Guard family, so they could move on with their lives. We finally closed and recorded.

I have to say that the service this family has given us for our freedom drove me to get this transaction closed. The bank’s relationship manager never responded to me the week before closing, but two days after settlement I received an email asking me when the closing date was. I responded back to him that we had closed two days ago and thanked them for never returning my calls – just another case of the bank not knowing what is going on with its files!
