·Holiday gift programs positively impact sales – nearly a quarter of respondents say gift giving generates a lead or sale, while 27 percent say they’ve received a referral. More commonly, the positive effects are broader, such as receiving a thank you (69 percent) or generating goodwill (60 percent ).
· The top five gifts which would encourage clients to give recommendations (81 percent) and repeat custom (81 percent ) are homewares, entertainment tickets (72 percent each), personalized gifts (75 percent and 67 percent respectively), food hampers (69 percent, 66 percent), and gift vouchers (67 percent each).
· Overall, 82 percent would tell their family and friends what gifts they received, 66 percent would recommend the agent to others and 64 percent would buy another house through them.
