Dick took pride in the fact that Real Estate One is the largest broker in Michigan and ranks 10th in the nation. Dick wore a gold pin daily in honor of the company’s accomplishment of being ranked as a Top Workplace in 2011 and 2012.
Dick dedicated many years to the Providence Hospital Board of Directors and Finance Committee, and most recently served on the Quality Committee. He was active in the fundraising efforts for Providence Park. Dick was awarded with the prestigious Providence’s Order of Charity Award this past April at the Friends’ Ball.
Dick served as Director of Flagstar Bancorp and Flagstar Bank, FSB, from 1997 to January 2009. Over the years he had been involved with numerous real estate related organizations and was an active member within his church community.
Dick is predeceased by his wife, Patricia and survived by his wife, Laurel; his sons, Dan and Stuart; and four grandchildren, Caroline, Camille, Erik and Evan.
Funeral services are planned for Monday in Northville.
