“There’s an entire ecosystem of awesome content solutions and distribution solutions becoming available,” says WellcomeMat Co-founder Christian Sterner. “People who are using video are going to have a huge advantage in the real estate space.”

BombBomb.com Co-founder and CEO Conor McCluskey says he sees video content as a means for agents to share their personal side with potential clients before they ever meet.

“It’s about building a relationship,” McCluskey says. “From being a stranger…to sitting at the dining room table signing documents with them. [Video allows you] to introduce yourself and have a personal connection and show what differentiates you and makes you better than the other million REALTORS® out there.”

“Everyone’s attention span is that of a fly,” says VScreen CEO and Co-founder Stephen Schweickart. “If we do a video for a client that’s more than about one minute and 20 seconds, the attention and click-off rate drops off dramatically early in the video. No one wants to watch an eight-minute video. Take your eight-minute content, break it into eight, one-minute videos, and chapter or title or segment those so I can pick my own user experience.”
