Q: How does video marketing provide real estate professionals with a competitive edge as prospective buyers increasingly turn to the Internet to search for homes?
A: It’s well documented that as more and more digitally-savvy homebuyers browse online for new homes, real estate agents and brokers who demonstrate online video prowess are swiftly differentiating their clients’ listings.
“Video has helped me give more value to my sellers,” says Renee Fishman, licensed associate real estate broker for Halstead Property in New York. “I have a bio video up on Halstead.com and it’s a great way for people to connect with me before they even meet me.”
Fishman recently joined Sotheby’s International Realty Canada Sales Representative Richard Silver, The Boutique Real Estate Group Owner Raj Qsar, Nashua Video Tours Owner Fred Light and WellcomeMat Producer and Content Manager Marcellee Williams for an online discussion about the benefits of digital real estate video marketing.
“Not only does it win you business,” says Silver, “but because of your personality coming out in the video, when people meet you, they know who you are and they’re more comfortable with you. That’s a big leg up.”
