Also, remembering that outbound marketing won’t always bring in business just because you’re spending money on it,” says Downing, who was most interested in inbound marketing with a focus on blogging.

With their weekend in Chicago behind them, the winning agents are back to business implementing their new skill set.

“Having been in the business for 25 years, listing and selling is second nature, says winner Penny Hansen of CENTURY 21 Affiliated in Beloit, Wis. “Now I need to introduce social media components to connect with clients.”
