RE/MAX Alliance is counting down to the 12th annual Alice’s 36 Hours for Kids Radiothon. The radiothon will broadcast live from Children’s Hospital Colorado on Denver radio station Alice 105.9. The event will run February 20 through the 22 from 6 am until 6 pm. RE/MAX Alliance agents and volunteers will be taking calls from 6 am to 8 am both days.
During the three days, Alice 105.9 breaks from its daily format to live broadcast from the lobby of Children’s Hospital Colorado. Stories from various families, children and supporters are shared. Listeners will hear stories of hope, sacrifice, strength and survival. This has become one of the most compelling and moving radio events ever heard in Colorado. The radiothon supports children and their families who depend on the world-class care that Children’s Hospital Colorado provides.
2012’s event experienced an amazing outpouring of support, raising over $1.8M during the three-day period. Over 5,500 new pledges were made 750 community volunteers gave their time and energy to make all of this possible.
“It’s heartwarming to see so many members of the community and surrounding areas stepping up to make this year’s radiothon a huge success,” says Kim Hawkins, vice president of RE/MAX Alliance. “There is no greater joy than coming together for the greater good and well being of our children.”
