Massachusetts held steady with a change of -0.7 percent in total transactions year-over-year. The median price increase of 7.7 percent is the largest year-over-year increase in New England.
In New Hampshire, home transactions increased 7.2 percent year-over-year, while the median price jumped 2.2 percent.
Rhode Island posted the largest year-over-year gains in total home transactions in New England, up 19.1 percent, while median price rose 2.8 percent.
Vermont experienced a boost in both total transactions, up 5.0 percent, and median price, up 4.2 percent, year-over-year.
