Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC recently announced that The Bellmarc Group has joined the Coldwell Banker® franchise system in the flagship market of Manhattan.
Led by owners Neil Binder, Anthony DeGrotta and Larry Friedman, Coldwell Banker The Bellmarc Group will now do business as Coldwell Banker Bellmarc and Coldwell Banker AC Lawrence, with a combined 600 real estate agents working in seven Manhattan office locations.
Bellmarc, co-founded by Binder in 1979, is one of the largest residential brokerage companies in Manhattan. The company expanded into Manhattan residential rentals in 2012 with the acquisition of AC Lawrence Real Estate LLC. The owners of that company, Anthony DeGrotta and Larry Friedman, joined Binder in forming a new umbrella company, The Bellmarc Group.
“This is a historic day for the Coldwell Banker brand,” says Budge Huskey, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate, LLC. “We took great care in identifying the right company to award a Manhattan franchise. Throughout the process we were extremely impressed with Neil, Anthony and Larry and their shared vision for growing the Coldwell Banker brand and our Previews® luxury marketing program in this gateway city.”
