What is one of the biggest challenges your market faces and what are you doing to overcome it?
The biggest challenge we’re facing today is our inventory. We’re also dealing with buyers who are unaware that prices have stopped falling. Overcoming these issues is all about working with our clients to educate them in regard to today’s market realities. For example, we’ve been working closely with buyers to identify comparable sales in order to help them truly understand pricing trends.
In terms of keeping your agents motivated, what are your key strategies?
Having a successful closing is always a motivator. For those agents who may find themselves in a slump, we offer a variety of coaching and education programs to really help them look within in order to help themselves out.
I’ve noticed that you advertise in The Real Estate Book and on RealEstateBook.com. How do those work into your overall marketing strategy for your own brand and for your listings?
Advertising in The Real Estate Book has been a great vehicle when it comes to reminding people that I’m in the real estate business. Not only does marketing through this medium enable me to keep both my name and face out there, it’s also a great way to show off inventory. When it comes to marketing, it’s important to do whatever it takes to get this message out.
