The EBCBOR Global Business Council recently hosted a “Day of Global Business” at the EBCBOR Headquarters which featured four expert sessions on topics ranging from staging for international clients, Islamic funding, global business and marketing strategy, and the impact of association connection and networking to grow your global business.
EBCBOR welcomed industry professionals: Bernadette Flaim, founder/principal designer of THE FLAIM GROUP LLC; Wesam Berjaoui, East Coast regional manager at the University Islamic Finance; Zola Szerencses CIPS, e-PRO, TRC, AHWD 2013 NAR regional coordinator of Eastern Europe; and Barbara H. Research shows that many recent immigrants view owning a home as an important accomplishment that brings stability, security and a sense of community.”
EBCBOR CEO Laura Rubinfeld said, “According to the National Association of Realtors®’ 2012 Profile of International Home Buying Activity, international purchases within the U.S. increased over the past year, as real estate in this country remains very attractive to foreign buyers.” She continued, “Our Association acknowledges the diversity of our membership as a consumer resource and is working to expose our member to latest in global real estate news and business techniques.
The day culminated with over 50 REALTORS® gathering for an evening networking reception at Crown Restaurant and Lounge in Palisades Park.
